Viola StrandbergViola is an anthropologist whose area of expertise is physical space and developing commercial enviroments. Her special interest is how stories can be used to create a sense of space and belonging between consumers and different places and products. In addition to Finland, Viola has conducted ethnographic research in the USA. City of Helsinki, Finnish design and ethical fashion inspire Viola in her free time.

Anna MartelaAnna specializes in Corporate Social Responsibility and the anthropological research of ICT. She has carried out ethnographic research for example for Nokia, in the outskirts of Jakarta. She is intrigued by the utilization of social theories in practical problem solving. Anna is interested in the concept of empowerment, corporate strategy, and the combination of development cooperation and sustainable business.

Elina gets a kick out of urban anthropology, and is currently writing about urban spaces and public places. She specializes in the study of borders – both physical and social. Elina is interested in the concepts of social memory and human agency. She is curious about the process of decision-making and how choices are framed. Elina has done ethnographic field research in Finland and Brazil. She enjoys traveling and learning new languages.
